Submission Guidelines

  

We seek short stories (1,000 to 5,000 words in length)

Please submit work primarily written in English, but some code-switching/meshing is welcomed.

​​​​​

Submit previously unpublished work only—we do NOT review reprints for contests (including work posted on blogs, personal websites, social media, et cetera). Reprints will be automatically disqualified.

We allow simultaneous submission but please notify us & withdraw your entry if your work is accepted for publication elsewhere.

This contest requires a $5 entry fee per submission.

The Lagado Press will award  one $250 prize for best story 

​

All entries will also be considered for publication.

​
